Towns we serve in Stanly County
We also serve the rural communities in between, including Aquadale, Millingport and the Stanly County shores of Badin Lake and Lake Tillery. Just over the county lines, we take calls for nearby addresses in Cabarrus County (west of Locust and Stanfield) and Montgomery County (the east side of Badin Lake and Lake Tillery). Those properties are permitted by their own county, not Stanly.

We don’t post one flat price because jobs differ. A pump-out depends on tank size, how easy the lids are to reach, and where in the county you are. New systems and replacements are quoted per site. Call or text (704) 218-9070, or request a quote and we’ll get back to you with a price.
Stanly County permits, start to finish
Step-by-step guide: how to apply for a septic permit in Stanly and Union counties.
All septic permits in the county come from Stanly County Environmental Health in Albemarle (704-986-3675). Applications now go through the county’s Central Permitting office and its online platform (704-986-3667).
- Records: search existing septic permits online by tax record number. Homes built before 1973 usually have no record unless work was done later.
- New systems: a soil and site evaluation (backhoe pits required), then an Improvement Permit, then a Construction Authorization before building permits.
- Permits last: 5 years from the Improvement Permit date.
